A word from the chairman...

NanoBioEurope (NBE) International Congress & Exhibition is designed to take stock of the latest developments in Nanobiotechnology bringing together academics, engineers and clinical specialists from public and private institutions across many disciplines to share their discoveries and innovations.

Although the scope of this 9th Edition will remain centered on the key topics usual to the previous NanoBioEurope conferences: Nanomedicine, bio-inspired technologies, biochips, regenerative medicine, medical devices, nanomaterials & nanotoxicity, manipulation nano-imaging and Biophysics; this year’s focus will add nano-oncology as a special topic to the conference.

In addition to the intervention of prestigious international guest speakers, selected keynotes, flash talks, posters sessions, stands and cultural events are planned to encourage and facilitate collaboration and project creation between High-tech companies and academic researchers. A special session on nano-oncology, organised by CGSO & CLARA, at the end of the conference is aimed at enhancing international collaboration in this field.

The event will take place in the prestigious Hôtel de Région Midi-Pyrénées at the heart of Toulouse. Delegates will have a direct access from the conference center to the impressive and beautiful historical center of this ancient roman city and its incredible architectural wonders.

We endeavour to make NanoBioEurope 2013 an exciting scientific and social event for you and look forward to welcoming you in Toulouse from the 10th to the 12th of June 2013.

Any questions?

Speakers: The conference will include keynote lectures, invited talks as well as presentations upon application (call for papers). Industrial talks will be included in the main session under flash talk format.

Well recognized scientist vs. young scientist: The conference should have talks from famous scientist as well as to give young scientists the opportunity to talk about their latest results. Only one criteria is on seek for everyone: quality.

Focus of talks, science vs. application orientation: The conference should have a strong scientific focus; still a number of presentations should address applied science presented by academia as well as by industry.

Participants: Regarding past editions, due to the congress interest, both academic and public.

Company presentation: A company presentation is nice incentives for exhibitors to present their company and their technology to a broad audience. The presentation should cover scientific aspects avoiding pure product shows.
