FOCUS ON... InNaBioSanté Foundation

The medical research of tomorrow will require new and different cross-disciplinary cooperation. It will also need partnerships that cross borders, cultures, sciences and knowledge.

The InNaBioSanté Foundation was created in 2006 by five companies involved in research and development of new technologies (Amgen, GSK, Pierre Fabre, Siemens, Total) and with the participation of the French National Research Agency (ANR). Its goal is to define, promote and finance excellent, innovative projects that break new ground, building on a scientific foundation that draws on:

Nanotechnology,
Biotechnology,
Information technology,
Imaging and radiotherapy techniques.

This convergence of “engineering sciences” in the medical research field, with a special focus in oncology, offers tremendous possibilities of reducing disease by improving the healthcare system – from prevention to treating patients and curing illness.

SUPPORTING RESEARCH IN A DIFFERENT WAY
InNaBioSanté Foundation selects a few very innovative projects to be granted at a high level for average three years duration. InNaBioSanté now focuses his activities for the benefits of the Toulouse Oncopole, especially for the ITAV Laboratories, the Toulouse Cancer Research Center, and the Universitary Cancer Institute, and its international attractiveness.
